As a residential electrician in Montreal’s Southwest and on the South Shore, we do the electrical work in houses, plexes and condos. A charger to add, a panel to upgrade, a radiant floor, a pool: the same master electrician assesses, installs and answers after the work is done.

A residential electrician handles the electrical system of a house, a plex or a condo: the service entrance, the panel, the circuits and everything connected to them. In Quebec, this work is done by a company licensed by the RBQ and a member of the CMEQ, which declares the work and stands behind it.
Before we talk chargers, hot tubs or radiant floors, we look at your electrical service: it tells us what the house can carry. We also connect water heaters and heat pumps, and we add dedicated circuits for your appliances.
Our clients are adding something to their home and want it built to last. We are not the cheapest, and we are not trying to be.

Each service has its own page: what it includes, what changes the price and what we check in your home before the work.

FLO, Wallbox or Tesla, from the electrical panel to the charger. Around 80 installed over a career.

Stelpro and Ouellet. An uncommon expertise, planned before the flooring goes down.

Certified ELIOS de VOLT installer, an accreditation few electricians hold. Informational for now: we assess your project.

Upgrade from 100A to 200A. We check what your electrical service can handle before the work, not on the invoice.

Heaters, inground pools, hot tubs and everything that lives outdoors. The trench gets planned before the yard closes back up.

Connection and transfer panel. First we establish what you really want to keep running during an outage.

Baseboard heaters, convectors, a garage unit heater or an electric furnace. Stelpro and Ouellet, or the equipment you already have.

A garage, a kitchen, an addition: the electrical work gets planned before the walls close up. We look at what your electrical service can handle and the order the trades need to come through.
How it works
By text, by phone or through the form. A photo of your open panel already tells us a lot.
The service capacity, the room in the panel and the route to the appliance. That decides the work, and we tell you before we quote.
Circuits, protection and connection, then every circuit labelled in the panel. The next electrician who opens it will know what they are looking at.
The work is declared under our licence numbers, tested in front of you and guaranteed for a year, parts and labour.

Four things decide the work. None of them shows up in a photo of the appliance you want to add.
100 or 200 amps, and what is already connected to it. A loaded 100-amp service often limits what can be added without an upgrade.
A new circuit needs a free slot and a compatible breaker. A full or discontinued panel changes the plan.
The distance from the panel to the charger, hot tub or room, and what has to be crossed: a finished basement, an outside wall, a detached garage.
Protection, grounding, clearances near water. That is what makes the installation insurable and declarable.

You rarely know which service you need. You know what is happening at home. Start there.
You need a Level 2 charger and a dedicated circuit. The real question is whether your service can carry that load on top of everything else.
Get an EV charger installedA fuse panel, a 100-amp service that is already full, or a model that is no longer sold. We check whether it needs replacing, upgrading or simply completing.
Electrical panel upgradeRadiant floor heating is decided before the pour or the flooring, not after. We plan the cable, the sensor and the thermostat with your contractor.
Plan a radiant floorBaseboard heaters, convectors, electronic thermostats, a garage unit heater or an electric furnace. We check the circuit that feeds them first.
Replace or add heatingDedicated circuit, protection and grounding, at the right distance from the water. The wiring is planned before the yard is redone.
Wire a pool or hot tubA generator is useless without a safe connection to your panel. We decide with you what it should power, then we install the transfer.
Connect a generatorWe are certified ELIOS by VOLT installers and we first assess whether your roof and your service are suited to it. You know what to expect before you decide.
Assess a solar projectThat is the time to call us, before the walls are closed. Planning the circuits now avoids redoing them later.
Plan it with a consultationBefore you sign, we look at the real condition of the installation: the panel, the grounding and what will have to be redone. You decide knowing what to expect.

A short list, which we would rather give you on the first call than after the visit.
Jobs are done on weekdays. If your project has to happen on a Saturday, we are not the right company.
We do the electrical connection. Setting the unit itself is the refrigeration technician’s job.
We advise you and install what is electrical. Programming a complete system is not our trade.
Facade and landscape lighting calls for different expertise than ours.
In new construction, we work for individuals building their own home, not for residential developers.

Each one started with the same question: can your service carry it?
Projects completed over our career, residential and light commercial
Projects a year, the same master electrician on each one
Warranty on parts and labour
About ten years in the trade, thousands of projects, and a company that stayed small by choice.
The person who looks at your panel is the person who does the work, and the one you call back if anything comes up. Nobody discovers your house on the morning of the job. That is something a one-master-electrician company can promise plainly.

« Véritable allié stratégique pour nos projets d'électricité, Marc-André est efficace, courtois et rapide. Nous le recommandons! »
« Service professionnel, offre des options pour ne pas augmenter le prix inutilement concernant le choix des travaux à réaliser »

Each residential service has its range in the estimator. A few questions and you know where your project stands. It is an estimate to guide you, not a quote.

Your questions
Nothing here promises a timeline or an amount: for that, we need to see the job.
The price depends on four things: your service capacity, the condition of your panel, the distance to the appliance and access inside the house. The online estimator gives a starting range for each service. The final number comes after the visit, once we have seen your service and your panel.
Check three things. The company must hold an RBQ licence and be a member of the Corporation des maîtres électriciens du Québec: our numbers are 5855-0849-01 and 17468, which you can check in the public registers. The work must be declared. And the warranty must be in writing: ours covers parts and labour for one year.
Not always. Only a load calculation can tell: we add up what is already connected and what you are adding, then compare it to your service capacity. We do it before proposing anything.
Yes, in houses, plexes and condos. In a condo, work that touches the common areas needs the syndicate’s approval. Plan for it before setting a date.
No, the work is done on weekdays. You can write to us any time, and texting is still the easiest way to reach us.

Describe it in a few words, even if it is still just an idea. We assess on site what your installation can take, and you decide from there.
