Our licences

In Quebec, electrical work can only be carried out by a contractor holding a licence from the Régie du bâtiment and a member of the Corporation des maîtres électriciens. Our two numbers are public and can be verified:

• RBQ licence 5855-0849-01, subcategory 16 Electricity, among others.
• CMEQ member 17468.
• Marc-André Vinet holds the title of master electrician, a reserved title.

What this site does not replace

The service pages explain how a job is done. They do not replace the assessment of one installation in particular: the same description can lead to two different jobs in two neighbouring houses.

The price estimator shows ranges to situate a project. It is not a quote and nothing in it binds VGI Électrique. Only a written quote, given after a visit, binds the company.

The amounts for the financial assistance programs are the ones published by their administrators, with the date on which we checked them. They change without notice, and it is the program administrator who decides whether you are eligible, never your electrician.

The content of the site

The texts, the visuals, the diagrams and the presentation of this site belong to VGI Électrique Inc., unless stated otherwise. They cannot be reproduced for commercial purposes without written authorization.

The manufacturer brands named on the site belong to their respective owners. Naming them says what we install. It does not mean that these manufacturers approve us, accredit us or sponsor us, and VGI has no exclusivity agreement with any of them.

The links to other sites

Some pages link to official sites, in particular those of the financial assistance programs. Those sites are not ours, we do not control their content, and a link is not an approval of what is found there.
