One year on parts and labour. After that, some manufacturers warranty their equipment for longer, depending on the unit. And even past the warranty, we still answer the phone if you have a question about what was installed.

A text message at (514) 929-9963. It is the fastest channel, because Marc-André is on job sites during the day and email is not always checked first.

We answer Monday to Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The work itself is done Monday to Friday.

Marc-André is a certified ELIOS de VOLT installer, an accreditation few electricians hold. No solar project has been completed to date: for now we assess your project and explain honestly what it involves.

Not always. If your panel is already strong enough and there is room for a dedicated circuit, we connect the charger to it directly. If there is no room left, or if it is not powerful enough for what is already connected plus the charger, it has to be upgraded first. It all depends on what the panel already feeds: it has to be sized for the load, never overloaded. We check it before quoting you anything.

When you need to connect something more to it. A panel is upgraded or replaced when there is no room left to add a circuit, when it is no longer strong enough for what you want to install, like an EV charger, a hot tub or radiant floor heating, or when a bigger piece of equipment exceeds its capacity. Sometimes it also has to be moved. It is not the age or the look of the panel that decides, it is the load calculation, and we measure it before telling you whether an upgrade is needed.

For electric heating, yes: we install baseboard heaters, convectors, thermostats and unit heaters, with your equipment or ours, and we connect electric furnaces. For a heat pump, we do the electrical connection only: the unit is supplied and installed by the refrigeration technician.

It depends on the type of work. An EV charger is installed in half a day. A panel change runs from half a day to a full day depending on the complexity. Radiant floor heating takes about a day. A pool or hot tub connection, with the water heater, takes about a full day. These are ballpark figures for a typical case: access, distance and the state of the service can lengthen the job.

For a panel change, the quote is free and can be done over the phone. For larger projects, the price depends on the distance, the scope of the work and what we find on site: a proper visit is needed to give you an accurate figure rather than a rough guess.
